Dev.Design

So lately, most of my work has been behind the scenes, or on intranet / middleware systems, thus there isn’t much to show, front-end wise. Check my resume for more details on the projects I’ve worked for particular clients. That said, I have one up, for your perusal:

Websites I produced / developed (this site is the most recent, and features a good CSS based layout):

And right now, I’ve been maintaining www.oneresult.com, a rather complex Drupal 6 website — I’m getting to exercise my sysadmin chops by building a three-environment, multi-server solution, integrating security services, git for deployment, and performance monitoring.

Lately, I really prefer and enjoy implementing content management systems into new or existing websites. Turning a flat site into a content managed one is great work, there’s nothing more satisfying than dramatically simplifying the work lives of your clients. My preferred CMS is Expression Engine, with WordPress a close 2nd. Of course, they are dramatically different packages, and the key to a successful project is choosing the right tool for the job.
